The Smivets

Trash-pop, guitar rock and melodic miscellany.

Don't Hold It Back

Ralph Atkinson

Hi!
I'm a guitarist, singer and songwriter currently living in Fredericton, N.B., Canada. I've been performing music in one way or another since the mid '60's, starting out singing tenor in a barbershop quartet with my brothers and then into a progression of bands playing rock, jazz, blues and country and... whatever. It's been a fun ride so far and I'm still as exited about it as the day I began.

My technique is laughable at times. I have developed a style of my own, I suppose, which creeps around. I don't have to have too much technique for it. I've developed the parts of my technique that are useful to me. I'll never be a very fast player. I don't really know what to say about my style. There's always a melodic intent in there.
I'm a producer /engineer and songwriter. I use Pro Tools and Steinberg exclusively, for most of

Musicarian

Musicarian ! A Solo Musician/Guitar Player.

Hello and welcome!
Im Salman Anwer, the sole performer behind 'Musicarian,' where my passion for music takes center stage. My musical journey began at the tender age of 5 with a wooden banjo. Over the years, I explored a range of instruments, including the keyboard, flute, harmonica, and saxophone. However, it was the enchanting melodies of the guitar that truly captivated me. At 17, I picked up an acoustic guitar, marking the start of an incredibl...

We like the freedom to write in many different styles. Sometimes within the same song. We like to go from 4/4 to 7/4 or 10/4 and change keys a lot.
Our tunes are usually long and change a lot from section to section. So if you don't like what you're hearing, just wait a minute, it will change! We write this music...

Painted Water

My music is a collage of world themes and sounds. It is often peaceful and it sounds like it would belong in a movie soundtrack.

I was born in Logan Utah. When I was three my family moved to Olympia Washington. My parents introduced me to their antique upright piano when I was five years old, and my love for the piano began. When I was ten my parents separated and I moved to Seattle, Washington with my mother and away from the piano. The next year I was given my first keyboard and I began to
