Band? What band? It's just me on solo acoustic guitar and vocals. I became a Christian in 1999 and God placed me on the worship team within months of my salvation. I primarily play bass (which explains the picture), but have also had the opportunity to lead on acoustic guitar.
Singing and strumming I like singing folk songs and accompany myself on guitar.
I'm a solo acoustic guitar player. My music is my own - I don't really have a specified style, although people were calling it modern/contemporary jazz, math ro I'm a solo acoustic/electric guitarist. My music is a mix between acoustic alternative, modern contemporary jazz, progessive rock and many other styles all mashed into one. Enjoy! ;)
I started playing in bands back in the 60s when I was 14. Through the years this led down many different paths... R&B (it was called 'soul music' back then), blues, rock, a little jazz with lots of funk thrown in. What can I say? I'm addicted to fingerstyle guitar. My main inspirations are Al Petteway, Michael Hedges, Pat Kirtley, Phil Keaggy, Doyle Dykes, Christopher Parkening, etc... It's my dream to record an instrumental album for Narada or Windham Hill, but fat chance of that happening.
