706 Union Avenue were formed in 1998 by Yan Townsend, (Bass) after hearing the cool tones of Stray Cats coming form the vicinity of Pat Winns (Vox Guitar) abode. Yan had played before with George Leckenby (Lead guitar) with the band 'A horse Called Eric' and apart from the fact that he happened to be a superb picker, he owned a gretsch. The band stole drummer Trigg Wooton who had come to audition for another group. All is fair in rock n roll.
Let's get something straight here - I'm not a band. Nor am I a DJ, yet...per se. Don't try to suspend me for copyright infringement or whatever, the songs aren' Hello. I'm not really a band or a DJ per se, but i do take some songs i happen to like and change them up a bit. Johnny Cash meets Brian Setzer and Mike Ness who picked up Dick Dale on the way to a gig. The Hard Luck Kings are on hiatus. Gregg left the band in 2004. Brian left in early 2005. Rick and Chris went to pursue other interests. Chris is busy being a father and very talented artist. Rick moved to Virginia and is composing music for TV and Film. As for Hard Luck Kings music; Rick is working on licensing 'the Kings' music for use in TV and Film.
