(Fernando) Michael Ortega Michael was born in Los Angeles County in 1958. After graduating from Nogales High School in 1976 he joined the Navy and worked as a I was born at Lark Ellen Hospital in Los Angeles back in '58. Went to Nogales High School in La Puente and played clarinet in the band. I joined the U.S. Navy and left home for 5 years...working as a naval broadcaster. Now I live in Alaska. I paint and play guitar.
