He was born October 12, 1966. He is the older of two children and grew up in rural Winston County, Alabama. His love for music began at a very young age; his Dad and both grandpa's being musicians. His earlier years were around bluegrass and gospel music. After graduation, he not only held 'regular' jobs but managed to stay involved with his love for country music by playing venues in North Alabama; primarily in th Jasper, Birmingham and Huntsville areas. Lots of fiddle and mandolin. We work on being ourselves& creating our own sound. We are a Bluegrass and acoustic group from the hills of East Tennessee. We feature sisters Jessica Ball (fiddle),and Cris Ball (mandolin & guitar), along with their father Randy (guitar), and friend John Skelton (bass).Jessica and Cris both are now participating in the East Tennessee State University Bluegrass Program. We play a variety of music including Bluegrass, originals, gospel, and more!

Kitsap Konnection from Kitsap County in Washington performs a mix of old time fiddle tunes, Scandinavian polkas, and Bluegrass-Western Cowboy standards. Their music pieces are lively, toe tapping tunes featuring twin fiddles played by Marge Tonge and Tina Raineri; long neck banjo played by Bob Olson; stand-up bass played by Tom Tonge, and acoustic guitar and vocals by Jeff Anderson.
