I started playing guitar when I was 13 and now have been playing, writing and recording music for around 30 years. I am for the most part a self taught guitarist but I spent a year (2009-2010) at The Musicians Institute (GIT) in Hollywood, CA to further hone my skills and break bad habits. In my mid-20's I traveled to Las Vegas and wrote, performed and produced the soundtrack for an independent film called 'Fighting the Muse' which was a lot of fun but unfortunately the movie never went anywhere...

Realistic rap, truthful with fans about our life. Shane Fogal started Poem writing in the year 2000, until he turned it into rap formats in 2001. Jason Branch and Shane Fogal formed 'Tha Lil Homiez' in 2001 and are still together in 2005. We are going as just our names 'Shane Fogal and Jason Branch'. We will still be called 'Lil Homiez' on Soundclick. Outside of SC, we will perform as Shane Fogal & Jason Branch but still rep Lil Homiez. They continue and make studio tracks and live in the mom...
