Blues guitar and latin influenced guitar instrumentals. I spent many years playing blues guitar in bands at the semi-pro level, weekend gigs in clubs mostly. Finally got sick of trying to keep part time bands together and decided to do my own thing for a while. Hard Swinging uptown jump band The John C.Marshall Band or Band's, A jazzy kind of R&B concept, mosly arranged or re arranged titles, and orrigionals from JCM or members of the band, With plenty of room for solists improvisation, I like to think of it as 'a good time party jazzband' it can range from Trio to full standard Big Band, But my favourit combination is the octet,four horns,Piano,bass&drums, and myself vocal and guitar. . . . . . .
