Brant Phillip is a 28 year old singer/songwriter with a musical background steeped in classical, folk, acoustic rock and jazz. Its not a whole band, it's just me. I've been playing guitar for 9 years and singing my whole life. I studied music in college (vocal performance) and have a great understanding of theory and history.
From the heart. Different. Emotive. Joyful. Honest. Human. Unique. Dreamy. Eternal longing. Sincere. My reason for being. All these songs are a couple years old and were recorded as first takes. None are developed any further than what I'd come up with just prior to recording. Nothing is the final product. I'm not a producer. Still coming into my own as a musician.
