It a special song to me, a song that I wrote for my son who was in Iraq and is now in Afganastan...
There is a new vocal version just released today, done by some friends in Metalic Rock-ese....It is on Ken Sacco's station, the link is @ http://www.soundclick.com/sacco.
Ken created the arrangement from the origial instrumental track that I sent him, he added some sound effects and then Mike Marshall (AKA VMP (USA)) sang the lead vocal.

Hello Ken, Great to have you as a friend. :) I messed up a few friend requests in my time here on SC, too...LOL... Anyway, Thank you for your friend request..... Also, thank you for adding "~Mirage~" to your station. "~Mirage~" is song that I wrote about life, just when you think you found that something special, that you have always waited for (a job, a love, a special moment) it slowly begins to appear and then just as it becomes clearer........it slowly fades away....just a fleeting moment...just a mirage....A friend told me that the melody reminded her of the Clint Eastwood Westerns...LOL..and ironically that same week, High Planes Drifter was on TV....
