Hello Manu!
how you've been? Listened to your new song yesterday and left comment, but I was in hurry and didn't write anything here...
So I have some news :) I finished my new album "V", and it's on my page in it's entirety. Tracks are in actual album order, so some tunes new to SC can be under. I hope you'll enjoy it and then tell me what you think ;)

Hello Manu :)
Sorry for a delay, just been so busy these 2 days :) Thanks for a nice comment... Glad you liked it! I didn't hope you would like it that much :D Now about your question... This song was made in FL Studio. a week ago I found some really great orchestral plug-in for that program, so first idea that came to me was that I should rearrange one of my existing songs... Last Kiss was an obvious (to me) choice. First version of Last Kiss was made in Guitar Pro, a program that I owe so much to... from that program I exported a MIDI file to FL Studio, and then added some parts arrangements directly from there. I guess that's all...
So, if you ask me which softwares you should use, I would tell those two (FL Studio & Guitar Pro). They complement each other and are veeery easy to work with... Plus if you have a synth or MIDI controller (which I know you have), these programs are even more easier to control... Just plug and play :D

Hey Manu,
I've listened to your reworking of "Controversial Times" I think it's better than the original! I see that song as a soundtrack for some gangster movie... :p You know, coincidentally, I also made a reworking of my track... I made a new version of "Last Kiss... And She Must Go". I turned it more orchestral... Take a listen and tell me if you like (or don't like) it... Drop some advices :D
So happy holidays?
Your school's over, isn't it? I still have to go there tomorrow...

Hello Manu!
How you've been doing? Been of SC for quite long, and only today I had a chance to listen you your new piece... It's fantastic and I mean it! Fantastic classical theme (is it yours or Chopin's?) blended with nearly apocalyptic synths, bravo! I have one piece called "Minute Love Poems", it's in Chopin style I think, and it might be interesting for you.
Also, I'd like to invite you to listen to my new piece. It's called "Wise Man's Dream". Not very pretentious, but I tried to keep it a bit sentimental. Hope you like it!
I heard you're gonna see Tiersen soon... You should be so excited :) I saw Jethro Tull in May and I'm still under that impression...

Already checked that YouTube ;link ;) from Capa's page. I also love this song. I also recommended to her "Histoire Sans Paroles" if she can find it anywhere... Pity that YouTube can't host videos longer than 10 mins. So this song was cut in three pieces there :(
And thanks for the comment! I agree with you. Drums are the weak spot there. My weak spot in general, 'cause I don't know much about them. I think that there are only about 20-30 people in the world who can program drums the way I really love so... I won't kill myself yet :D

Hey Manu!
Yesterday, after listening to your tunes, I decided it was time for me to write something new... So I set down at night, and here we go! I called it "Free To Smile", it's a bit different in sound than other LaoZi compositions, because I've used new engine.
So waiting for your opinions! And yeah, you should really check Anglagard and Sinkadus... They are one of the best 90 Sympho Prog bands of 90's...

Hello Manu,
How are you? I listened to your new song, they are fantastic. Can't even tell which one I prefered, both were so high class... I think "Signature" is very similar in mood to some 90's Swedish bands, like "Anglagard" or "Sinkadus"... Have you ever listened to them? One more question: How do you compose? When you play, have you already written it, or there's much of improvisation?

Hey Manu,
how are you Progga? ;) Is there already spring weather in Finland?
Listened to your new tracks and liked them much, especially "Lost Adventure", very interesting piano playing there. Many tempo and mood swings... You're so good at it that sool I'll not believe you're just a teenager :D New Generation Rocks (us included)!
Yes, I also got some new guitar songs uploaded. To be more exact, new versions of old songs. Check 'em out. One of them, "The Dream" I uploaded right now. This was the first time I layered tracks... So first try is almost always sloppy, so you tell me to which extent :D
Any new bands discovered? Recently I've been listening to huge amount of music... Especially Sympho / Neo Prog.
