HI!! Thanks for the add request. How are you? I'm sorry it took so long to respond, but I've been dealing with some personal issues - DEBT mostly - : ) Anyhow, I really like your page - BTW, I'm a huge lover of animals too. Thanks again for adding me and I look forward to hearing from you soon! Ana

Hi, [looks like this is in two parts again :] ...i'm glad you don't mind long messages...looks like you might like to write too...that's very cool Was it a sad story? They were happy together...they most likely still are...as i recall this guy lived on a tropical beach, so the ocean was his backyard...and i don't think he needed to work...so why not hang out with his dolphin pal? LOL!!! Sea life is fascinating....another whole world obscured from view, did you know that at the bottom of the sea there are lakes of sulfur? So the ocean sort of has an ocean too, i wonder what's beneath that?...in the deep sea creatures are so different since there is no light they have to generate their own....it can be a wild light show...and they are so alien as to be almost unbelievable.

...it's a very big world we live in especially when considering the size of the sea....so much variety. ;) “All” is a big word...i hear you though...i like them all too...birds of prey :) very interesting. i considered becoming a ranger at one time as well...i've had many majors...but i think i've finally found what i most need...and that is a good education in money....i want to be wealthy...so it's going to be my specialty...and yes i'm enjoying what i'm learning a great deal. What are your favorite reptiles and which birds of prey if you had to choose?

Hi, thanks for stopping by...i have to do this in two posts (999 character limit) grrrrrrr anyway i'm a cat person all the way, personality wise too :)...but i like all creatures, i even pay attention to the behavior of bugs...i suppose (like a cat) i'm just really curious. You are lucky to be graduating...i have at least two more years...but it's ok, since i love to learn... :) You are in England right? i wonder how well African animals handle life up there? They probably need heaters in their cages. i admire your career choice...if you get more adventurous you could actually work anywhere in the world...or just as easily settle in one place and work with a few animals over the course of their entire life...being that close is a passionate job, animals lives are more dynamic than many people realize...it's rewarding but it's a huge commitment...

There was this documentary on TV about this dolphin, who i guess was kinda mean and was actually going around and attacking people; he had no other dolphins; i kinda forget why; perhaps he'd been abandoned; perhaps that is why he was pissed...anyway, this local diver was able to befriend him...he swam with this dolphin everyday for years...they had games they played together...etc...anyway while filming the documentary, the diver had to go away for a week and the Dolphin was literally heartbroken...you could see it in his behavior...reconciliation was very difficult...i guess the point of this story....is that diver was committed to swimming with that dolphin everyday for the rest of the dolphin's life...lol...fortunately, there was nothing that diver would rather be doing...so it was really cool... Which animal would you most like to work with? and what would you most like to do? (...there is such a wide variety of options)

Emily, thanks for stopping by.There're so many talented artists on this site.My favourite bands are in my friend section or their songs are added to my stations for quick retrieval.Don't need no MTV.I don't care what genre they play, jazz, rock, classical or pop,as long as I can sense a talent and hard work. Glad to catch your attention.Keep in touch. Mike

Hi thanks for stopping by, (my post is too long, i have to do it in two parts...[999 character limit]) Before i stopped watching TV (years ago) animal planet was my favorite channel...Big Cat Diary my favorite show...and i totally have my own “Crocodile Hunter” style lingo...i find animals respond positively to communication, giving you plenty of time to take pictures, etc...after all, if you think about it, predators are quiet...so speaking puts most animals at ease and inspires their natural curiosity, they will actually stop to stare and listen rather than run off if you talk to them, so i always do. ...i hike almost daily....in fact i ran into a gofer snake today, caught him sunbathing right in the middle of my trail...

...he sat perfectly still hoping i wouldn't see him, or that i might think he was a stick...finally, after i spent some time taking pictures, he started swaying his head slowly, like a leaf in the wind...trying to fool me i suppose, (playing the role of a stick who was also a leaf )..gradually, inch by inch, by only moving his head in rhythm with the wind and keeping the rest of his body perfectly still he crawled back into the bushes....i crouched beside him watching this agonizingly long process, smiling the whole time, i really enjoyed the performance; it was quite good; though he wasn't fooling me one bit, the charade was very funny....so yes, definitely an animal and reptile fanatic too... Animal management is so cool....now that you are in your last year, do you have any jobs lined up?
