Hi and sorry it's been so long since I last wrote. I've spent the past few months working on getting better (I hope anyway) with the voice, and have now launched a new project with my friend and vocal coach, Wayne Dwyer. We've just released the first song, which is a remake of a song he wrote and included on his solo album 10 years ago. Please give it a listen and feel free to rate and comment if you like. Thanks!

Standing Alone....wow,
actually this went down real quick and easy,not like those which go down kicking and screaming lol .and boy I was taken back when it got so much positive feedback,and then when Johnny Yellowheel covered it..dude that changed everything for me.I couldn't believe someone wanted to do one of my songs,when I heard it...........WOW!!!!
I would love to be able to get radio ready quality and might have been able to back in the 70's lol but I do feel I'm getting a lot better on the engineering side............... I got a long way to go,
Butt I'm gonna do my best to enjoy it every step of the way.

you really showed me some things about my stuff that (I thought)was going on but wasn't sure.The little details(accents/effects/bells and whistles)..........they are that important.yes yes yes, an affirmation I needed (Thank you)
Also dude I love Supertramp,Breakfast in America is one of my fav's
I'm definitely not a pro..........but damn it I'm trying lol
I'm glad you liked Small Minded People,I'm very proud of that one,John Holgate is such a neat and talented guy and it was a real pleasure working with him .It really made me up my game working with him(thanks for the station add too)
hahaha when I saw your comment on Itch I was rolling.I absolutely love getting comments on this one,cause I know everyone is got to be thinking(what in the world is this thing about)so much fun to picture the listeners face(Johnny Proctor thinks its about a deal with the devil)

Its amazing to me how easy it is to get confused as to the reason I am here,Every since posting songs online,especially here at the click,I find myself concentrating on the responses,trying so hard to make the next one better.It adds this, not very healthy stress ,and certainly takes a lot of the fun out of it.I really didnt even notice it,consciously,till your comment.
Wow I really need to remind myself that I do this because I like to do this,it is my passion and my sanity.I need to stop worrying about,the end result and enjoy the ride!
Its a good thing that you have done Mike...........all with a few simple words

nothing I have ever experienced touches me more than knowing I have touched or inspired or just motivated one other person on this planet with my songs,in even the smallest way.
Its funny,we really don't see it till someone says the words,
although all of us are influencing each other every single day,whether it be by song,by deed,by smile or simply with a few words,those few words are magical
"goosebumps"........."the feeling of being alive again".......
is that my heart beating?Damn that feels good!
