Yes, very much practicing hard. I actually have a bit of a treat for you... I was practicing last night, knew you might be missing the group this year, so I recorded one of our songs using the same arrangement we used last Christmas.

Dave's sister Cathy got married.
Yeah, that social group has been going for a couple of months. I'm at the outer edge of that demographic, so Kelly and I haven't taken part in it. Besides I have no life. :)
But I know the fellow who set it up, I sponsored him for a retreat once - nice guy. I'm sure they'll have fun. The church doesn't have too many social events anymore (it once had a number of events at Halloween and Christmas, etc.), so I think this will help fill that gap...

Hopefully your school schedule eases up for you a little soon. It can be very stressful trying to manage all the assignments and studying, I imagine.
One of our singers got married yesterday at the church. It was a beautiful evening wedding... the church all lit up with people holding candles.

Hi Ag,
How is it going? How's school? Brother David took his final vows and is now officially a Dominican monk. I went to a surprise party for him on Saturday, and I think he's happy to be back at Blessed Sacrament. I've been thinking of going to bible study this year, we'll see!
The group is going well... the guys are outnumbering the ladies now, which has never happened before. Means I'm singing a lot of the high parts now. :)

Don't know too much... I just got back from vacation at 11 PM last night, so I've missed three weeks. We did not go on the church trip to St. Anne de Beaupre, but we did go on our own while we were on vacation.... it is very beautiful and a very powerful pilgrimage.
I don't know what's going on with the group (I've been gone so long) other than to hear that Dave's wife did have the baby!

Things are good here. One bit of news about B.S. is that 4th Avenue is now under construction.... the street's crowded with caterpillars and is a little torn up now. Fr. Joe had a surprise birthday party waiting for him when he got to PEI last week.... he didn't even know it was his birthday party, until the gifts came out. He's turning fifty in December, so he joked about not being too happy about turning fifty six months early. :)
Dave's wife is due with their first child in three weeks or so. I have a feeling I'll be leading music a lot more when that happens. He already has such a busy life, and it is about to get a whole lot busier.
The weather in Ottawa has been fairly cool... not sure how far away you live and whether it is the same there, but there's been a fair bit of rain and cool weather here since you left. :)

Hiya, How's school? What's new? Hmmm, not sure. One of the singers announced an engagement, and our drummer Steve just got back from out west. Not too much exciting, I guess. :)
