Stephen Richard Thomas Brown here... I am just replying to your comment that you posted on my board regarding my instrumentation of Parables. I composed Parables in 1994. Such a long time ago for me. As far as I may remember, my intention was not so much to be particularly specific about a certain parable, but rather to give an overall musical interpretation of the parables in general. I suppose my intention was to allow for anyone to take their meaning as they will and not (from my point) to tell anyone that they need to interpret them in a definite way. Besides, there are more than 12 parables in the scriptures... My intent was to play with an overall feel of the parables in a musical sense and not to be too specific. I hope this helps to feed your imagination with regard to my work. Thanks so much for any interest that you have shown me.

Thanks for dropping me a message! Really happy to hear you want to use a track of mine again, always an honour :) I must say I will be impressed if you crack the code with that one, because it's really long and as you say; lots of ups and downs and emotion. I'm thinking one of my new tracks may suit better? "Hymne" or "The Leave", but you are a master with the words, and if you have started with BL&D I'm looking forward hearing the results ;)
