In all honesty!

This has been a very difficult but rewarding journey for me. I've always known music was my reason for being, as cliche as it may sound, it's the honest truth.. I've been writing songs for as long as I can remember. My sister, my cousins, & I put together groups when we were younger. When I reached the age of 19 & saw 3 very good friends of mine get signed I realized then that my dream too was possible. Admittedly I was very diffident then, yet & still those same 3 friends known as The A'z signed to TVT & began their sub label Wing Team, & gave my ex bandmate (& childhood friend) & I a chance. They recognized our potential & pushed us, backed us, & taught us so much. I appreciate it all today because had it not been for those 2 long years I'd be without a wonderful beginning, ample knowledge, the name Bonnie, & the guts to do what I'm doing.
It's 2011 I am on my solo venture & must admit initially I was scared half to death to begin again. After the sudden collapse of TVT & the dismantlement of both The A'z & Honey N Da Bank (the group I belonged to) I didn't know if I'd ever get my strength or courage back. But I guess what they say is true, "All things are possible thru God". I've seen it therefore I believe it.
I didn't know how the world would take to who & how I am now. I was packed away & quiet for what seemed like a long while but during that crucial period of life I found myself. Now I'm far more honest, aware, & in touch with self. I've heard it said before that pure hearts won't be denied & I guess it's simply truth that resides in that statement also because I've received so much love & support from all over & it is greatly appreciated by me. I know I say thank you often but it;s because I am so thankful for each & everyone of you!

I wanted to say thank you to everyone who has taken the time to listen to my tracks & then proceeded to leave me feedback. There's so much genuine love & support on this network that I've become overwhelmed with joy & gratitude. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. It means more to me then you all know. Thank you!
