Creating and Jammed Fingers

Have you ever woke up and a song is running through your head that doesn't exist yet? Sometimes I think up basslines, melody, and even vocals. This morning it was some sort of rock song. Sometimes I can lay it down on the keyboard, other times it fades to a different song that I have listened to.
A few weeks ago my left pinky finger wouldn't work properly. I must have jammed it somehow or somthing. The previous night I cracked the knuckle, so that might have done it, who knows. It's no fun when you want to play your keyboard and you can't do it properly.
