Definition of a Hater!!!

Hey guys and gals!!! This is Yussef Black here! I've been working hard on my debut album coming in March 2009! Be sure to cop that! Hmmm, whats on my mind is "haters". My definition of a hater is someone who tries to hold you down for their own benefit. I will give an example, say a friend of yours is always criticizing you or your music, i mean they never have anything positive to say. Now once you criticize them about something then they take offense and call you a "hater". Well hmmm, I think the one who first voiced their negative opinion is the hater. Im here in San Antonio Texas and a lot of people here have told me I would make more money selling my beats because I dont do "Texas" rap. News flash!!! Im not from Texas, Im from Mississippi, but lived a long time out in NJ and Philly. So I have a lot of influence on my music. They were speechless after the soundscans were back and when they checked me out on soundclick as well as other sites across the net. Don't get me wrong, I know how I feel about my music, but I also know that this is a business and we have fans....so I leave it up to you guys to have the final say on what's hot and hwat sells or not. There is not really much love from here, just the constant criticism of other artists. My guess is if that artist you dont like has a record deal or is selling then someone likes them and you are just "hating" because it is not you. Sorry for blabbing on about this.....so let me know what you all are thinking out there! Hit me up! Holla!!!
