SOUL OF THE CHOIR-BOY4 ACT PLAY JAMIE D GAZELLE , DAN SCOTT W AUTHORS SYNOPSIS OF THE STORY As an average Catholic boy of seventeen, A young Jeremy states finds out that God is real. Jeremy really likes rock n roll music and feels it is his calling in life to do it. His parents are not real happy about it and he is given an ultimatum to stay in the choir and sing in the Easter cantatta at church. If he decides to quit the choir, which he does he is kicked out of his comfy little home and into the streets to be on his own. His mother is very upset about the whole thing but figures Jerry needs to learn some respect for her and his father who is the only bread winner in the household. Jeremy winds up in the park with only a few minor amenities and some clothes he takes along. There in the park for just a few hours, jerry learns that this living on your own is not safe and definitely not fun. He asks his band buddies to help but they are realy in no position to help him out. One night a really nasty bunch of thugs and rapists come and see he is alone there. They confront Jerry with the idea of delivering some drugs for them, and he really has nothing to say about it. He sticks to his guns and says no, just then one of them puts a knife in his face and says yer gonna do this or youre gonna die, cuz now you know about the drugs and the deal. The scenes get wild and crazy, and crazier yet when he starts to explain how he gets into singing at church and how he was healed of multiple shlerosis when he was a young child. He is healed by a secret friend who comes and visits him in the hospital. Who could this wonderful person be? And who has this power to heal. Take your people you care about to see this play, you will be forever changed and will probably never be the same again. __________________________________________________________________________
