Happy just informed me his performance of MISSISSIPPI NATIONAL GUARD has just earned the Happy Goat Band an AWARD OF EXCELLENCE from the powers that be. The song written by Happy and Goat moved the crowd from tears to cheers as they were taken through the history of the MNG in song. Stay tuned on updates as they develop. Hey all soundclick users just wanted to say HOWDY and to let everyone know were here. I have enjoyed listening to all the music that is posted up on this site and hope some of you well stop by and check out our music. We are currently in the studio finishing up our debut album. Wanted to get some feedback on what you think about the high gas prices and how you think it will effect the bands that are touring. It has just about doubled travel expenses and I sure am concerned about the club scene. Most clubs are paying next to nothing now and I know it is effecting the big boys as well. It's the fans that keeps music going and with out them I wonder how will we all survive. Yea, you can listen on the internet but there's nothing like being in front of a crowd and sharing the music. So, would you pay a higher ticket price for the National Acts at bigger venues or will you support the clubs and get you music fix there......
