Yo, it's difficult to design the perfect poster. Ofcourse I did hire couple design pros before, but I like creative activities and have been designing the posters for the parties I promote myself. It ain't the easiest think to do. I know I still have to learn a lot Photoshop and stuff, but in 2007 I've been getting quite a good feedback for the posters and also, and that is obviously more important, the posters did work. Or more accuratelly did do the part of the work promotional work that has to be done to run a successful partz series. Just like the Party Duel. Here's a couple points to keep in mind when trying to design the perfect party poster: -make good use of the poster space -text is important - make sure it is readable from further distance -colors are important - try to comunicate the event atmosphere with them -good idea helps -don't waste too much time perfectong the posters, it's only part of the promo campaign -who, where, when -+ 1 more incentive to come
See my last real name is Gottwald, so when i first started producing music and djing parties I went with 2T, as something that was and wasn't me... I've been writting rhymes since like 99 but i was too shy to realy step up and spit it, so i just kept spinnin vinyl, as i got older and bolder I simply could not hold back no more, so besides music production I started MCing, as a dj I already had some reputation so I didn't want to get rid of that or mess that up... I came up with DT, and the whole Double Talent concept, and yes, i't's fresh, byaaaach! 2T as dj, DT as an mc and 2T / DT as the double flava wholesale package at Double Talent ent.
