Okay so the song I recently made Amazon Dream has been an ongoing project that I had to get into the whole feeling of moving into a relaxing atmosphere. I really like having to create relaxing music pieces from time to time. The whole scheme I have is taken place of coarse in the amazon or similar with tons of trees and passing by a waterfall (that's the panning fuzz near the intro). I guess it can be taken two different ways as either a waterfall or a rainstorm passing by. For me I intend as a waterfall after hearing some samples of live ones and that's what I've come up with so far. I could add some more water flow effects like a river/stream as well to make that part better. Also if I choose to have a rainstorm I'd really like to add the actual water droplets slapping the ground along with some thunder for kicks. The main bass amazon drum was something I added just after the fade-in cymbal just as an extra feel of power in this piece. Overall the song is very relaxing though I felt adding in some power here and there to give some excitement in this piece. I may add more onto this song and make it longer if I can find more natural instruments and progressions to keep it going and real. At the same time it is a "dream" so there are some ambience unreal sounds as well but still has that surrealism to it.
I thought I'd give this a shot as a way of posting my fans out there on what's happening and going on in my music world to share my ideas and things going on with me. I went ahead and uploaded 2 of my more complete pieces that has been shown elsewhere around (youtube etc.) Just giving this a shot and see how it goes for a while. I'm really looking forward to making a lot of music and arrangements however I'm troubled on which ones to get started with first. Trance is big on my taste, I also have ideas of making an orchestral arrangement and some ambient/relaxive pieces as well and most likely just pure piano tunes. Lot of ideas and a lot of things to get going with but eventually I'll get them made and posted.
