Land Of Two Moons - Webisode Theme Song
May 27, 2011
I would love some comments on this song if you have time. I wrote this song for a webisode I've written and scripted and will now be doing my first trailer in a couple weeks when I go on location. I hope I can pull off what's in my head. It's a children's science fiction mystery.
My ultimate goal is to write webisodes and use and pay my collaborators for their time and effort and not always give our songs away for free which everyone expects us to do - No More I say :):)
Cheers and thank you in advance....Casia

Christmas Album Now Available WOOHOO!!
Nov 19, 2010

Hi Everyone:
I'm pleased to finally let you know that "A NOT Ordinary Christmas" is now available to purchase from our Reverbnation Store in CD Format. WooHoo! It seems a long time coming but I'm very excited. It will also be available soon in select CD Warehouse stores and others which I'll keep you posted on. If you want the downloadable album or ringtones you can buy from Reverbnation as well. It will be available within a few weeks in 38 on-lines stores around the world.
You can buy from this link TODAY: https://www.reverbnation.com/anotordinarychristmas
For those who missed my original story about this album, My on-line collaborators and I started this project in mid June so it's taken us five months to fully complete this album through the two on-line studios of Kompoz and MusiciansCollaboration. The album consists of 12 original songs written by me and includes 38 musicians, singers, arrangers, producers and mixers from ten countries: Canada, USA, Sweden, Belgium, Scotland, England, Germany, France, Italy, and South Africa. Each song is like opening a present as you don't know exactly what you'll find. We've got a whole range of genres and a great fusion of them as well. And, none of us have ever met face to face.
We've been getting really good reviews so far and for those who have heard it, one of their favorites things to figure out is to try and guess what country each of the players comes from based on their vocal accent or their influences. Can you guess what country the sultry jazzy vocals come from or the Europop riffs or the wacky sideways view of life.
For those who want to learn a little bit more about me, you can listen to my latest interview on "Indie On Air" at this link:

Take care. I hope you like our album enough to buy it and give it a try. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.
SEASONS GREETINGS AND ALL THAT ......Casia xx

Christmas Album "A NOT Ordinary Christmas"

"A NOT Ordinary Christmas" album will be finished this week and ... [more]
https://top40-charts.com/news.php?nid=60354&string=Texas
"A NOT Ordinary Christmas" album will be finished this week and ready to send to the on-line stores to purchase as a downloadable album. This is an album of all original Christmas songs written by Canadian lyricist, Casia, and a group of 38 artists from 10 countries. The artists gathered together in their virtual studios to make something a little unordinary this year. Not only have they never met face to face, everything was accomplished over the internet and within four months to radio ready quality through two on-line studios "Kompoz" and "Musicians Collaboration".
The album consists of a variety of genres: pop, pop-rock, folk, adult contemporary, new age, Latin jazz, new wave/punk/rock, soul/jazz/blues, blues rock, traditional and musical theatre. And, the influences are too numerous too mention:
See if you can identify the Belgium accent which adds a sultry, hypnotic vocal akin to the smokey jazz bars of the tin pan alley era.
How about the Europop guitar riffs reminiscent of Europe's passion for North American rock.
An Italian version of old country American-style guitar typical '50/'60 Fender clean sound (James Burton, Buddy Holly...).
British influences from 70's/80's punk with an uncompromising power pop Christmas anthem stuffed with seasonal punky fun sitting somewhere between The B52's and Ian Dury.
The rythymic flow of disco-like latin groove with spanish strumming rythym guitar reminiscent of Miami Sound Machine and Gloria Estefan.
This album has something for everyone ... stay tuned for the release date

A NOT Ordinary Christmas
Aug 30, 2010

For the last sixty days, 40 of some of the most talented indie artists (musicians, singers, lyricists, song-writers and mixers) from around the world have quietly and secretly gathered together to produce “A NOT Ordinary Christmas” album. Just entering the mastering stage, their soundmixer informs me this album will be ready for distribution in late September, early October for this year’s rush of Christmas song fanatics.
Every year 1,000 of Christmas song lovers are on the search for the best of the best in Christmas songs always looking for something new to satisfy their urge to get into the spirit. With this in mind, this group of artists put their thinking caps on and let the creative juices flow, coming up with a smorgasbord of over sixty minutes of original music and lyrics to satisfy even the pickiest of audiences. You are sure to find something on this album to make you smile, tap along and even make you feel a little bit guilty this season to reach into your pockets to support children in need around the world.
“It’s been a bit odd writing and playing Christmas songs all summer, but it’s been a blast hanging out with artists I had never met or worked with before. I’d do it again in a Christmas minute” an anonymous musician.
I promised I wouldn’t give away their hiding spot quite yet or the artists involved but if you see a bunch of musicians lurking around singing Christmas songs you’ve never heard before…you’ve probably found them. I will give you a hint that they come from Germany, Italy, Scotland, England, France, South Africa, Australia, Canada, USA, Belgium and Sweden. So not only is this album full of new songs you’ve never heard of before, imagine the influences each of these artists from different countries brings to the table, so to speak…yummy!
Stay tuned … I’ll keep you posted on what’s happening. If you do find them, tell them I said “hi” and maybe you’ll get a free album. Well, they said, I could give away five free albums anyways. A portion of the proceeds will be going to a children’s charity so we certainly wouldn’t want to take anything away from the children this Christmas, would we.
Later….
