Haven't been active here for a long time

It is March, 2015. I lost my job in 2013. I moved for a new job in August, 2013. That was only temporary, but I stayed with that job one year. I lived for that year in Vancouver, WA, which is across from the river from Portland, Oregon.
I have now taken another job in the Austin, TX area and have now moved back. I have been at the latest job 6 months.

2009 in review

We took 3 vacations in 2009: France, England, The Netherlands, and Belgium in April 2009. We took a cruise from Vancouver, BC, CANADA to Seward AK in June 2009. After we got to Anchorage, we rented a car and drove up to Denali National Park.
In December 2009, we took a road trip out to California and visited with our niece and her family. One of the pictures that I took on the way back won a prize that ctr.lv ran for pictures uploaded.

The summer has been going well so far. It is hard to believe that 2/3 of the summer is almost gone. We went to Switzerland towards the end of April. In June we took a road trip through New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Oregon, Nevada, California, Arizona. We saw Yellowstone NP, with some Buffalo and Elk. We saw Shoshonee Falls in Idaho Falls, ID. We also went by Lake Tahoe on the border of Nevada and California.
