"THIS IS THE LIFE" CD RELEASE MAY 16th!!!

Well it's finally here! Woo Hooooooo!
Our CD "THIS IS THE LIFE" will be released on Saturday May 16th! (Details below). We are celebrating the release with a CD release party being held in Downtown Sanford, Maine, at the TOWN CLUB!
We have a great night planned to start off at 7pm with a cocktail hour and mingling. That will be followed by a set where we will be performing all 18 songs from our CD. We'll break for a little bit, and return with a final extended set of songs, to include YOUR REQUESTS! We'll be providing everyone with a list of songs we used to do, as well as new songs and songs you have may never heard us sing before! Just jot your request down and pop it in the bucket, and we will be pulling songs randomly!
The CD release party is open to the public, and admission is free. There will be a cash bar, as well as a pub-style menu provided by Above and Beyond catering. Along with our CDs, we will also have our new t-shirts, baseball caps, mugs, posters, and more!
We would appreciate any support you could give us in getting the word out to get the place as full as we could to share in what we feel is a night to truly celebrate! Two years in the making, and IT'S FINALLY HERE!!!!!!
A portion of the proceeds of our CD sales is being donated to CAMP WABAN, an organization in Maine that assists children and young adults with learning disabilities. We have supported this organization for 15 years. The do some amazing work!
We sincerely hope you are able to attend, and remember, bring a group of friends!!!!!! Come help us WHOOP IT UP and celebrate!

Funny Story For Ya!

Hey Everyone!
So, a funny story to tell you about a show we did week before last...
Whereas many of you know about the horrible ice storm that took out power for nearly 400,000 of us New Englanders, we were happy when we got power restored after just 2 days...so many other folks are still without power over a week later!
Anyhow, we get to the stage, and do many of the songs off the new CD, and the last song we went up to sing happened to be one of them. It was called "A SOFT PLACE TO FALL".
Now, keep in mind that this was the end of the night, at the end of a stressful week for many folks in Maine without power. Suffice it to say that many of them were feeling quite warm and tingly, due to some potent liquid refreshment. Everyone was having a great time...some even better than great if you know what I mean.
Well, half-way through "A SOFT PLACE TO FALL" this cute couple were slow dancing right by the beautiuful Christmas tree, when suddenly the liquor took over their feet...and you guessed it. They fell flat onto each other onto the floor during "A SOFT PLACE TO FALL". It wasn't until after we helped get them back on their feet and realized they were OK when I realized the irony of the song they fell to.
Anyhow, both are fine, a couple bruised egos I'm sure, but they left the show smiling as big as ever...really nice people.
The great thing about making music, is you get a kaleidoscope of memories and moments like this one that still makes me crack a smile. You get to meet some really nice people, and get to share some laughs and some tender times as well!

Hi Everyone & Thanks to so many of you for your encouragement as we wind down on the production of our new CD. It's been 13 years since the last, so certainly some maturing has happened with us as people and performers! Hopefully each of the folks that grace us with the purchase of a CD will find at least a song or two (or more) in the mix of 18 tunes that they can personally relate to, and enjoy! We feel so very blessed!
Some of the copyrights have started coming through, so it's just a matter of time (and patience...which by the way, has never been a strength of mine! Heh heh heh!)
Thanks again to everyone for their amazing support and the incredible sense of community here on line! You all ROCK, and it's great to be involved with such a talented group of people!

Hey Everyone! We wanted to say thanks to all of our SoundClick friends who have been so incredibly supportive of the new CD, The last 17 months have been long but worthwhile, as we FINALLY finalize (??) the mixing and licensing to go to end-production! We have had the honor of hearing so many of you out there chasing the same dream, and we have enjoyed (and will continue to enjoy) every minute of your music!
We wish you the best, and we look forward to listening to as many tunes on SC as possible...SOOO many talented people! Thanks Again To You All!
