It's been awhile now, since I wrote this song. I wanted to honor our soldiers, who sacrifice much for all of us, but honestly was having trouble getting it done. Usually I don't post up, until I have produced a demo, but thought, maybe this time, I could give y'all a listen before I produce this one. As always, your thoughts are appreciated....

Growing up, our family had a Granny that, after Grandpa died, stayed with her children and helped take care of all of her grandkids. About every 6 or 8 months, Granny would spend time with us. As I look back, it was great at the time and now? Priceless... This song is for Mona Cox, who took her last breath in my arms nearly 25 years ago... I love her still...
