Play
Interpretation of a free jazz, flowing moment in time. I was writing this song and thinking about a couple of musicians that I know and would love to play this song with. Very sparse and open, bass and drums... or bass and trombone... I felt like they would know exactly the feel I was feeling... and make it touching.
"Wisdom, gently guided by the Muse." This song was channeled... I was definitely a conduit for the message. I began using the mantra for my own life... and it began to touch others in a profound way. The spoken word was already written... it was just a journal entry on a seemingly random ideation... but it was tagged by the magic powers of the Universe and chosen to deliver love and light to the heart.
A beautiful collaborative effort... an original BASIC BLUE instrumental sparked its next incarnation and became a masterful soundscape that reminded me of the enormity of now... and how time does not really exist, there is ONLY now... and I was thankful to be a part of NOW, and the honor of blending the art of ZamZam the "Originalman" & the MellyoMatic, with mine...
A heartfelt homage to Lady Day, for singing this story from first hand knowledge. A reminder of what hate destroys, and the need to love because LIFE depends on it. Listen, feel, and leave your review. https://www.acidplanet.com/artist.asp?PID=948278&t=5071 “Powerful rendition of Strange Fruit. A song can never tell the whole story, but in the wordless groaning of the 'voice' and the space between words you hear all that you need to know. And sorry doesn't say it all... Life in its bitter sweet glory would dare to redeem the soul of history.” Napoleon Dozier
