Psalms 137. The name is taken from one of the most controversial scriptures in the bible. This inspired talented foursome of young individuals were formed Sept 2006 in the ancient city of bath. The lead singer/guitarist and founder of Psalms 137, Tom Goblin, ventured out to finally find the band he always wished to play in, and he found them. Leslie on Drums and Percussion; Tom Samson on Keys & Sampling and Nick `BassWonder` Taylor on Bass guitar. Individually these musicians have achieved great things such as playing to crowds of 15,000 and even playing Time Square NY. Because of the vast amount of influences Psalms 137`s music has, it is very hard to categorized or place into a genre. there hints of classical music, dance, metal, rock, funk and electronica industrial and the lyrics have been written about such subjects as sex mystery, domination, and politics. To sum up Psalms 137 you have to listen to it. Don’t think of it as music but more of an experience.
