What Would You Say?

What would you say in the bright morning light?
When you open your eyes, I’m there by your side?
Would you be happy, a smile on your face,
Knowing our love resides in this place?
Would you rejoice because our love is so true?
Knowing I’m there to help see you through?
All of the times both good and bad,
Say words to cause laughter, to help you feel glad.
What would you say when I take your hand,
Walk down the beach with our feet in the sand?
Stare in the water, our reflections we see,
Happy to know, our love’s you and me?
What feelings would you feel as I kiss your soft lips?
Caress your warm body slide my hands to your hips?
I say all the words you been waiting to hear,
Knowing the night time will soon draw near?
What would you say if I said I need you?
Would you feel secure, know our love is true?
If I told you life’s lonely I need you by my side,
Tell the world I love you and have nothing to hide?
Could we share the moment with smiles on our face?
And Know were together by God’s loving grace?
As I kiss your soft lips by the bedside come night,
Could we take our love to a new loving height?
What would you say I share a story so true?
About a man who’s looking for you?
A woman to honor, cherish and hold,
Each day of his life until he grows old?
Could you be happy with a man like that?
He lies down beside you and hangs up his hat?
Glad for the blessings he has in his life,
Make love to you darling till the bright morning light?

The Road I Travel

The road I travel will it lead me to you?
To one with love and compassion that’s true?
One who is searching for the happiness in life?
They need a loving man by their side.
You cherish the moments and time well spent.
You say to yourself, “He’s heaven sent”.
All the things you may see him do.
They touch your heart, his love is so true.
A man that so journeys in his way.
Sharing his kindness is the least to say.
He reaches out to others who need a hand.
You’ll be proud to say “He’s my man”.
You wait for my arms to hold you so tight.
Lay down together on a star filled night.
Talk of the things we both want to do.
Make love till the morning, me and you.
Share each day together with dreams.
Our lives can be happy with the little things.
Together we share the gift of time.
A Chain of love we leave behind.
The Road I Travel…..Will It Lead Me To You?
