Free download! It's the catch phrase that is used on beats across soundclick. We use it ourself!. Everybody likes things that are free right and it attracts traffic but...... why would you want to buy a beat that everybody and their mom has downloaded recorded on and posted the finished track online. I know wouldn't pay for it. It's a simple issue of supply and demand. If it's a "Free download" there's an unlimited supply which means that there will be no demand. Straight Dope Beatz will sometimes offer certain beatz as freedownloads but only after they have been up for half a year and we figure that the beat flopped. Which happens rarely. We even limit our leases to a maximum of 5 per song to keep your beat rare for you. We got the hits that nobody else has!
