what is a blogger ?

I have heard there are people that make a living by blogging , how do they do this ? does it involve multi-tasking whic to me is highly over rated , so you can text message , check e-mail ,chat , talk on a cell and read the lastest techie magazine all at the time , so how much infromation can you actually retain ?
To make aliving as a blogger seems narcissitic to me did zi spell that right ? where is the spell checker here on on sound click ? can I takes pictues with my cell phone and post them on a blog site / would anyone care unless is involved the newset widget that also makes toast and is a GPS unit .
what was my point amyway ? d)&^#! multi tasking !
