Mostly, I put these up as guide tracks for actual vocalists. I'm a songwriter, harmonica player, and sometime guitarist. I usually prefer others to sing my tunes, but if the song calls for a gruff voice, I might take a shot at it. I played only blues for decades, but finally got a little bored in my old age and branched out into old jazz and even pop on occasion.

I've been a Musician since my early teenage years. I started out wanting to be a guitar player and that was the first instrument that I owned. I switched to the bass after some friends and I wanted to put a band together and there was no one to play bass. My father was a well known musician in the area and had a band called the 'Dukes of Rhythm' and the bass player had an old bass he wasn't using and gave it to me. So, that was the start of my musical career.

A percussionist with over 30 years of experience, he was a student of the well-known Puerto Rican percussionist Ray Mantilla. He has played with several groups in various musical contexts, from jazz rock to ethnomusic, pop and jazz fusion. He is currently part of the Latin American music group Encanto. He has a great passion for bossa nova and Latin American music.
Frank Lamphere is a s throwback to the pop vocalists of the 1950-60s. His bands are comprised of some of the top jazz players in the business Frank Lamphere has been honing his swinging style during his 25 year singing career in the specialized genre nowadays referred to as traditional pop and jazz. A style which he learned or more like 'absorbed' from the titans of popular music, aka male vocalists prior to 1970: Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Jack Jones, Buddy Greco, Tony Bennett and others.
