mainstream jazz , swing and traditional the jazz heroes is a mainstream trad and swing band resident at the Hero of Waterloo hotel in the Rocks in Sydney Australia. The band is led by Johhny Wray , who played in swing and trad bands through the 50's in London and Valda Marshall who plays cornet and sings. This is the authentic voice of mainstream jazz played with an Australian accent.

Jazz influenced swing, funk, retro-blues. Just released CD, Green Martini. 12 original songs recorded live in March 2006. Steve Ullman and Kenny Weiland started performing as the Swunk Brothers in 2003. Over the years the band has become a loose collaboration of musicians including Steve Organek (Steve O), Mick Dunn, Geno Bouffard, and Sonny Feliciano. Generally performing as a duet, the Swunk Brothers play swing, jazz standards, and jazz/funk oriented originals.
