Hi! I'm a guitarist, singer and songwriter currently living in Fredericton, N.B., Canada. I've been performing music in one way or another since the mid '60's, starting out singing tenor in a barbershop quartet with my brothers and then into a progression of bands playing rock, jazz, blues and country and... whatever. It's been a fun ride so far and I'm still as exited about it as the day I began. Ralph Atkinson

I also write southern rock, a little blues, lots of smooth jazz

Just getting back into this after a long hiatus. I purchased a used Korg d16 - 16 track recorder around the Fall of 2009 for $ 100.00 and I haven't touched a recorder in nearly 25 years. That was in the 1980's with a Tascam Porta 01-4 track. Things have come a long ways. The guitars and music equipment came out of a long hibernation soon after.
Welcome to the Black Cat Jazz Cafe Band! This is a virtual jazz cafe and so is the band Welcome to the Black Cat Jazz Cafe Band! This is a virtual jazz cafe and so is the band. I came from Cuba 28 years ago. Although never formally trained as a musician I played drums and Latin percussion on different bands at different times. Once in the US I only played on a church band, no time to be on the road with a music band, instead I made my living as an engineering tech. Now I'm retired and altho...

A Quote From Nietsche
The... European..., all in all --definitely requires a costume: he needs history as his storeroom for costumes. He realises, to be sure, that none of them fits him properly --he changes and changes. Consider the nineteenth century with regard to these rapid predilections and changes in style-masquerade; notice too the movement...
