Americana music based on country, with a touch of bluegrass, blues, gospel, folk and old time. I played in a family band called the Jolly O's from age 15 to 30. I started to write and record my own music when I retired in 2010.
I love writing songs about life, love and personal experiences. I love all good music, but I am a country boy at heart. I write songs that tell a story, and I have lived long enough to have witnessed a lot of stories both good and bad. I like all good music. I write because I just enjoy it.
