Acoustic singer-songwriter - blues, folk, cocktail lounge, country, alientated, post-punk, religious, grunge, emo I currently work as a solo acoustic singer-songwriter guitarist. Would I call my genre 'New Acoustic Music'? It's hard to say - I've got a rich variety of styles of material - some blues, folk, and jazzy sounding songs, country, religious. However, much of my material does not seem to fit into any pre-exisitng genres whatsoever, and I'm proud of that!

Beau Burtons music is a mix of a little Cream via Eric Clapton, some Band of Gypsys via Jimi Hendrix and some chunks of Carlos Santana mixed with some Robin Tro Beau Burton brings his own brand of Roots and Blues base Rock music from a place where styles are intrenched in the southern U.S. mixed in with a gumbo of tradition. 'creative' is a word often used to describe me. my creativity is apparent in every aspect of me. some ways i express my creativity are to - write, blog, dance, draw, rap, do a little interior decorating, cook, manipulate images with GIMP, design graphics for the web, create cell phone wallpapers, dabble with web pages, photography, nail art, and i also love karaoke. i've decided to use soundclick as an arena to share some of my pieces and flows.

The story of the musical phenomenon known as Salmon Handy began the summer of 1995 along the banks of Oswegachie River, at the New York State Ranger School in the Adirondacks. While playing his acoustic guitar on the front steps of the school, Andy Rabb heard Sam Berg playing the piano through the common room window. Forced with the choice of cruising timber or eating filet of cheese, playing music seemed the thing to do.

Instrumental progressive metal and other music This is my one-man band. I program the drums with Superior Drummer 2.0 (older ones on here are Drumkit From Hell Superior or the original DFH.) Everything else is also written, played, and recorded by me. Guitars and bass are done through a Podxt directly into the computer. Most of the music is progressive/experimental metal.
