Desmond Dyslexica and the Dents is an on going project, developing electronics, noise and rock/blues. Sometimes a blend, some times not.
Extraordinary Stubborn Blues, nominated for 2003 Muddy Awards, winners in the Journey To Memphis competition, one of nine top unsigned blues bands in the world WARNING: Prolong listening to Blind Rhino may cause butt shaking, arms swaying, toe tapping, finger snapping, mojo working, tingling sensations, and naked dancing in your living playing air guitar to “Shame”. You will start shouting things like Awesome, Far Out, Cool, Woo-Hoo, or even mumble incoherently while listening to “Texas Tone
Blues-based funky folk-rock, recorded with a 4-track recorder in my basement. I like my music raw and uncluttered, with lots of open space and contrast, and to be honest, my songs would be even simpler if I could manage it.
Acoustic based mostly, rock sometimes. Hard to pigeonhole. I play guitar, bass, do all the vocals, program the drums, even play the keyboards if I have to. Th Up until October 2003, I had not even played my songs for my family. I decided to answer the question 'what would you do if you weren't afraid?' The answer was I would let people hear my songs and maybe even actually play them live for folks. I know I am not a great musician, singer or performer. I am trying to learn to be a bette...
Baskyl is a sound-bender, a music project, a sonic appproach, an experiment. Working on computer in cyberspace, the persona around Baskyl doesn't really matter. Age? Gender? Nationality?...who cares? All tracks are produced at home in the quiet hours between 11pm and 1am. (Sometimes it's much later than that...) Interesting how things change, start to move, take a different focus, get a vibrant flow. The result is never calculated - and always surprising (at least I am astounded, everytime)....
Fingerpickin guitar The real thing folks.. instrumentals, Country, Southern Rock, Blues, ..... whatever. We're mostly comprised of musicians that have paid our dues playing clubs and bars. I had quit for 25 years before finally getting any interest in picking again. Now we do not play as a group anymore, but we all have DAW's, and we send CD's back and forth to each other. When someone wants me to pick on their CD, they just mail the .bun file to me, I open it, record my pa...
Really just two guys (Ottawa & London Ontario) that record for fun by sending tracks back and forth and merging in Cubase on the computer. We periodically get some help from family and friends.

The music you will hear here is just guitar jams I have thrown up with no real thought going into it. I am not trying to write hit songs here and I am not trying to get any sort of a deal. The music I post here is for enjoyment puposes.... mine in recording and playing it, and hopefully for someone listening to it. These tracks were created in my home studio.
Just an old buzzard passing the time with music??
Grew up playing rock, blues guitar..went to school and studied music formally--now I teach and enjoy life.
I am a guitar player. I love the blues, and blues rock. Its real soulful. Its real southern. Muddy and Albert. Jimi and Eric. Nothing stirs my soul like the visceral howl of the electric blues. Sometimes I'm pretty over-the-top, and sometimes I just feel so heavy. But, I love it now, just as much as ever. I wanted to share it with you. Randy
