Talk To God

Julie Redhouse “Lady Kinlichiinii” Biography of Lady Kinlichiinii, who is a Navajo dine from Red Valley AZ, a renown independent native woman is Julie Redhouse, she is blessed with a song writing ability, to create unique songs written in the Dine language. Julie Redhouse was Born and raised in Fruitland and Kirtland NM, but originally from Red Valley AZ, with Father and Mother and Great Grand Parents. She is of the Kinlichiinii (Redhouse) Clan Born for Hoghanlanii (Many Hogans), Her paternal clan is Jemez Pueblo and Maternal grandfather is Ozah Tachiinii Clan. At the age of 12, her cousin-brother Andrew gave an old classical guitar which she treasured and began to learn to play easy chords, and soon advance to become a member off the early 1971 family ministry entitled The American Indian Jesus Movement, and later in 1974 band called “The Exodus.” After 1990, the family recapitulate on the ministry and slowly picked up it’s ministry again, and moved forward in further development of ministry. This time entitled as the Kinlichiinii Singing Ministry and produced its first album called “Out of Bondage”, written by Julie Redhouse as the co owner and Producer of this fantastic album. After many great songs and inspirations, her group went their separate ways and Julie and sisters reserved the elemental remainders and produced three more albums entitled “Onward”,” On Fire”, and a Christmas CD of 2002 with close friends, and fellow lead guitarist talent knows as Jasper Tougelchee (now deceased) who were dedicated to the Lady Kinlichiinii Singing Ministry, and their never ending quest to give the native people of Navajo, real genuine good music.. She has taken this group, and toured the east through west of united states, and rocked audiences in the past 6 years across the Navajo Reservation and other states and has been featured at the 1991 7th Annual Native American Music Festival in Tsaile AZ, KTNN, and done a missionary evangelist in the South American country of Peru. Julie Redhouse has now put the finishing touches to her first 5th long anticipated debut self titled CD and is now ready for the general public, for their listening pleasure. She features on her solo vocals, 12 string acoustic guitar and producer of the new music entitle A New Song, A New Dance. She blends the music with flute, native drums, rain stick, and chimes to create a sound that combines her native roots with a positive vibes of the Dine People. Her songwriting and music is filled with hope and power with Grandparents and her Parents traditional teachings of the way of the Navajo, along with diyin god bizad, the Holy bible. My gifts of songs and song-writing are all a gift from my God, Yahweh, to relay the message of hope in a very sensitive way to my Navajo Dine People. Pure music is our god’s wonderful gift, put on earth, for you to hear and enjoy. God Bless.
