The new era in Hip Hop is here and Mic Doja is here to lead the way. Since 1993 I’ve been involved in music production. Music in Hip Hop now is dead. The music culture has been commercialized and exploited. My music is here to bring REAL music back to the Hip Hop culture. My music speaks of real issues dealt with by real people. Not everyone in Hip Hop is a D-boy, or a gangsta, or even baller. My music is not about drugs, killing, or any other negative aspect currently portrayed in Hip Hop music. Hip Hop is about reaching out with good music, bringing unity, and becoming empowered. And that’s what I’m here to bring to Hip Hop.
Some of my musical influences are; Tupac, Nas, Mos Def, Outkast, E-40, and Kanye West to name a few. The goal of my music is for you the fan, listener, and even critic to hear good, positive, fun Hip Hop music that’s made by a real artist for real people. For over 15 years I've been involed in music here on the west coast. The time for the west to come up is now.
There's really not too much to say. I started music in 1993. First performance was in 1997 for audience of 200. Stopped performing until later in 2004. I have recently started the recording of my anticipated debut album, "The Rise".
Local clubs, venues, parties, you name it
I love Tupac, E-40, Too Short, and other great west coast artists as well as a lot of east coast artists like Jay-Z, Lil' Wayne, T.I. etc.. I'm not for all the negative association to hip hop fro some of these artists but I still like'em.
My computer, magix music software, adn occasionally a keyboard.
