skriptzophrenic born 11-23-83 began his young career as a rapper at the age of 16...in the summer of 2000 he entered a beginner freestyle comepetition that immediatley propelled him to the upper echelon of young talent floating around the internet...after a 2 yr. hiatus he returned on the scene where he discovered the "Sacred Society"..it was here, skriptzophrenic learned how to polish his talent to be able to spread his word. skriptzophrenic the man, comes from a very diverse background...his ethnic make up is black/filipino...something that the rapper is very proud of. Primarily raised in Norfolf-VA Beach VA area, skriptzophrenic moved from Ames TX to St. Mary's GA and back to Virginia repeatedly throughout his childhood. It was because of this, he was able to be exposed to many different aspecets of "hood" culture...some good...some bad... The name "skriptzophrenic" derived as a metaphor on a play of the words "skripts" and "schizophrenia"..."I believe my name basically describes my flow...i can jump on anything and adjust accordingly...." whether schoolin' kids on the lyrical level, giving an insiders view on real street life, or just plain wildin' out this emcee can do it all... This young aspiring artist has a hunger....not for money...but for life...the value of life in our relation to our struggles...but at the same time, he wants you to recognize his flair for lyricism, his wit, his play on words, his true SKILL as a rapper. Asked about his place in todays game, he replied..." Too much music i hear on the radio today, sounds like a step back to me, no disrespect to my forefathers or their's, but i just feel like all the dance instructing and all is like a step back to when it was just DJs and original emcees....I represent the future...i represent the present...i represent NOW!"
