Boys Girls and Fools

Title track off of the album of the same name
Drawing upon vast musical influences, and the experience of growing up in a clichéd, small Midwestern town, Todd Murray creates musical and lyrical landscapes that evoke a hometown vibe, but with eclectic and often cacophonous movements. Todd spent a few years in Colorado to expand upon his experiences and influences. While there, he frequented many venues such as Avogadro's Number, The Study Hall, The Sugar Shack, The Beatle Beanery, The Vault, Conor O'neil's, Moxie Java, Blue Note, Dazbog Coffee, Java Joint, and many others with equally unique names. He was also featured at the 9 News Health Fair, and on the KRFC radio program Live at Lunch out of Fort Collins, CO, as well as attending many musician co-ops at Canal Street Tavern in Dayton, OH. Todd has written, recorded, and produced three full-length independent albums of all-original material. On his upcoming release Boys, Girls and Fools he performs all guitar, bass, piano, vocal, and manic tambourine parts. Adding depth to the mix are some seasoned musicians: Matthew Patrick Gilliam on trumpet; Brad Bertoch on Djembe Drums; and Jay Patton on Slide Guitar. Todd is bent on pushing himself to new levels and keeping on the path of musical evolution. His love and devotion to the music is endless, and that bleeds through each new musical venture.
