Like a Porn Star

From the upcoming Null Factor album, "Uncle Sam and Aunt Pharm". "Like a Porn Star" is featured on disc 2 ("Aunt Pharm") and is about how there seems to be a pill for everything... and we mean everything.

From The Inside, Out

A solemn instrumental that acts as a divider between the harder, dance-oriented tracks on the '(in)finite' album from the more rock-based tracks.

Destroy Me

Featuring the most aggressive programming to date, Null Factor releases 'Destroy Me' to the public. 'Destroy Me' is about not allowing the world to defeat you.

Pigs To The Slaughter

Just enough venom to make this song perfect in its timing.

Free Will

Fast and frantic battles with soft and subtle. Either way, you win.
The soundtrack to the beginning of the end. And any other cheesy catch phrase one could think of.
Band/artist history
A result of the break up of Industrial/Metal group, MiLLENNiA, Dan Harvell (aka rUINED) formed [null factor] as his creative outlet. In 1999, Harvell released his first CD-R project, "Remodulated". The follow-up CD-R release, "Calculating the Human Form" was released in 2001. In 2004, [null factor] released his first professionally produced CD, "Purity" under the wings of Ballistic Test Productions.2007 marks the release of another album, "Human Analog". This release will be independently produced.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
[null factor] is mainly a studio act, but I would love to play live, eventually.
Your musical influences
My influences include Skinny Puppy, OhGR, and Frontline Assembly. A lot of people say they can hear a KMFDM influence, but I can't really claim them as an influence.
What equipment do you use?
I use Synapse Audio's Orion Platinum and all of the soft-synths and samplers that come with it. I also use Reason for some piano, strings, and basses. Effects-wise, I use an endless list of Direct-X and VST plug-ins that work well with Orion.
Anything else?
Thank you to all who have listened in the past. Hello to all of my new listeners. To both... I look forward to the future!
