Interworld and the New Innocence

This is Buckethead and Praxis' Interworld and the New Innocence. The original version doesn't have a solo, so I just made one up.

Band/artist history
The Past - Music has always been a big part of my life. My dad says when I was a little tot I used to have a little plastic green guitar, and whenever COPS would come on, I'd run to get it and jam along lol. I got my first acoustic guitar when I was about 5, and I just played a few chords here and there. When elementary school came along, I took violin. I played violin through 8th grade. Middle school rolled around, and I started to pick up my guitar more and more. When I was 12, I started guitar lessons. My instructor showed my the basics, like chord progressions, and how to read tabs. I got my first electric for Christmas that year, and that's when I really started playing all the time. By that time, I'd developed an ear for music, so I could pick up songs without lessons. My instructor told me I didn't need him, and I should just go on my own. So, I quit lessons after only taking them for a couple months. High school started, and my tastes in music changed. I started listening to jazz, classical, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Paul Gilbert, John Petrucci. I wanted to play just like them, and the only way I could do it was practice. The Present - So, that's what I did, and that's what I still do. I practice at least 2 hours a day, sometimes more. I've started to develop my own style and sound and my skills have gotten better within the last year. With more practice, by next year or the year after, I'll be able to look back on now and say "ha, man I sucked back then". That's about how it is with every musician. If they just really try hard and practice you will get better. You may not see a sudden change, but you will get better over time. Now then, I was in a band called Life After Death, but that didn't work out because some of the other "members" had "issues". I am currently working on compositions, and I'm also starting a side project called Event Horizon. The Future - No one knows what the future holds, but we can still make plans. I know I will be doing music for a career. Rather it be a music teacher, playing with a band, playing with a talk show like Letterman, or a cooking show like Emeril, or even touring worldwide like Vai and Satriani do.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
I play every weekend for about 200 people, guitar and bass.
Your musical influences
Buckethead, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Paul Gilbert, John Petrucci, Dream Theater, lots of Jazz and lots of Classical.
What equipment do you use?
Right now, I use an IbanezGSA60 with a Peavey Rage158 hooked up to a wylde wah and a digitech RP80. Later this year I'm doing a major upgrade to an IbanezRG1570, and a Peavey JSX halfstack.
Anything else?
Enjoy, and thanks again for stopping by.
