Welcome. This page is to promote the words of a young man, by the name J.Hayes. J.Hayes was born in Sicily (Italy) and was raised on the coast of Mississippi. At the age of 15, he moved in with his oldest brother in Florida. After being kicked out of the house a year later, he moved back to Mississippi to live with his dad and sister. At the age of 17 he moved to Maryland, for a change and to be closer to his mother. From their he discovered the beauty in City life, from Maryland, Virginia, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. He know resides in Florida with his beautiful wife.
In the beginning, he used music to become closer to his older brother. He learned the basics of rapping and freestyling from his oldest brother. From there, J.Hayes, took what he has learned and developed his skill throughout the years. He has created 4 projects, "Rudeboy Ent. Presents: Jay Hayes" being his first. The project was a 35 song mixtape, that included mainstream instrumentals. He was 17 years old at the time, and he taught himself how to mix, master, and record. The CD wasnt perfect, but caught a few fans attention. His first on stage performance was in NW DC, where he was accompanied by friends. After, a year later, he created another project named "Hood Scholar: Knowledge without College." His second project was completely his work. This is the first, and only album he has done that has his created production (beats). The third project, "Rudeboy Ent. Presents: Jay Hayes Vol.2" consisted of many songs, but was lost and forgotten when he moved from Maryland to Florida in 2006. His newest project "Broken Chains" is considered the only album that has meaning, and J.Hayes agrees. He argues that music today is all similar. He states that everyone is talking about the same thing; Drugs, Guns, Violence, Hoes, Bitches, Money. After 3 years of absence, he thought it was time for a change. That music must have concept, and a meaning. That music should be a tool to teach, guide, and uplift. Not to exploit, mistreat, abuse, confuse, and misguide. He is here to be that teacher, and his project "Broken Chains" is just a start to his long journey ahead.
