Hey Wassup all.
I'm Jeffery Hays, a rock/blues indie guitarist. I grew up in south central Pennsylvania, and still reside there.
I exclusively write and record and perform my own composistions. I have been playing the guitar for 35 years now and there is always some new sound I discover. I mainly play instrumental music, although I'm going to experiment and put my vocals on some of the new songs that are still in the production stage at the time of this writing.
So I hope you find my style both dirverse and stimulating and come back time and time again for more. This is a tough buiz. and a po boy needs all the help he can get.
I am happy to say, that another site I am on has said the I am the best guitarist to come out of central Pa. in a long time. I realy do appreaciat that. Lots of Hard work, and dues paying along the way.
I am happy to include that I won first place in the central Pa. guitar competition in 1976, out of 103 finalists. Very humbeling as there was tons of talent available there. I couldn't believe it when they announced my name. realy a good feeling.
I started out in a band in High School band we called Stoned Deliverance. LOL. We enjoyed a measure of sucess during those years. We got to the point of doing a demo song for Capitol Records in Philedelphia, in 1979. We called it Any Time. We all thought this is it we realy busted our collective asses to pump out that one and It should have been a chart topper. But this is a very ficle buisness and we were turned down.
So long story short, me and the bass player being disalussioned quit the band and got real Jobs. Tired of sleeping in our cars and eating toast. Yes that realy happens.
So now here I am back as an individual trying my hand again at the tunes you will hear. All instruments unless otherwise noted are played by me. Jeffery Hays. And are copyrighted material owned exclusively by me.
