K9 (Born Kenneth Hauser in Winston Salem, NC) ALWAYS had a thing for Music. As a baby, even before birth, his mother would put LL Cool J records and Old Jay Z joints through the headphones that she would straddle over her stomach. As a young buck, K9 moved to Norcross, GA and spent the majority of his time sitting in front of TV sets, watching BET, MTV, and VH1. Or Laying on his bed with his radio on. One Day at the Age of 9, he realized that he wanted to be a part of the culture that he had grew up on. So he began to write. At first, He wasnt much to listen to. He was never gassed up and was often told he should just give up, because he was a "waste of microphone time". But using the hate as motivation, he began to record songs like "Im Off a Chain" and "Hookless" with his cousin Diante. It wasnt Much, and No, it didnt get his name out there, But it gave him his start. But one day, at he age of 12, at a Micheal "Moon" Thomson" football camp K9 astonished a No Limit Recording artist by the Name of Sincere, and a group of other 14 and 15 year old aspiring rappers. For 3 Days K9 wanted to be a part of that crowd, who rapped while everyone else play Basketball for free time, But because of his age, he was not accepted. On the third day.... He didnt ask. He Just walked up and started Spittin. They all looked a him like he was crazy until the nd of his verse.... I Impress myself - Spit Game 2 a nun just 2 test myself..... Though these lines arent all dat good NOW, they were then, especially coming from a 12 year old, along with the verse he introduced it with. At that point, the more Well-Known member of that group, a 14 year old artist by the name of Josh "Keez" (www.myspace.com/k33z) snatched him up and said "Ha ha, HELL NAH!!! Dis Da New breed of Me Right Here!!!!"..... Which is where he adopted the Alias "New Breed." After that, K9 began writing more and more. At age 14 he entered High School. Never really did his work. He wrote in math, he wrote in science, he wrote in social Studies and even Language arts. He even turned in his essays in rhyme. At lunch (Sitting right across from Keez until he temporarily left school) he would write. Ad He would never stop. He then realized he had all of these songs An nothing to record on. So he built a makeshift studio Using a Karaoke Machine and The racks of his closet; As he did when He recorded songs with his cousin. With that, He made his first solo song, "People Wanna Know". At age 15, K9 moved to Snellville Georgia. After earning a bit of a buzz battling niggas in the parking lot of the school his sophmore year, he decided to start an indie record label. "9 Lives ENT" (Now "Lost Live ENT"). He then Began to record more songs on better studio quality equipment Provided by EJ "Lil Houston" Riley (www.myspace.com/lilhoustonondeck) . Making Songs Like "I Shed Tears" (Parts I, II, and III) "Down 4 da Count", "Cash!", "32 Bars of Heat", and Remaking "People Wanna Know"(Above). Now, K9 has earned himself a name. Not as big as it Soon will be, but the name is there. And it isnt going anywhere.
