“And time after time I've done the Tell. But this ain't one body's Tell. It's the Tell of us all. And you got to listen it and 'member,'cause what you hears today, you got to tell the newborn tomorrow.” We have a Tell that needs to be heard and repeated. We are The Telling.
Band/artist history
Three of us (Paul, Andy and Ian) got together with a mutual friend in a rehearsal studio to make some noise. From those initial sessions the musical core of the band emerged, minus the mutual friend. After unsuccessfully trying a few vocalists we linked up with a bed-sit poet (Eric) to complete the original line-up. Originally The Telling was together for about 3 years before splitting up. The reformed band has been back together for 5 months. Vicki joined on backing vocals when we reformed last November.
