Dorian Griner (GrĂ¼ner) grew up in Belgrade and partially in Bosnia and Croatia, having Serbian, Czech and German ancestry, dating back to 16th century Bavaria.
He studied the piano with his mother Bozena Griner, herself a pianist and a former graduate with distinction from Moscow Conservatoire, as a student of legendary Heinrich and Stanislav Neuhaus.

Dorian gained his Masters from Guildhall School of Music & Drama studying piano with Artur Pizarro, improvisation with David Dolan and song accompaniment with Eugene Asti. He has since performed recitals for Royal Family, at Wigmore Hall, Steinway Hall, Bluthner Piano Centre, St.James' s Piccadilly and St. Martin in the Fields
Born in a family of musicians, my mother was main musical influence. Sheer determination, working right not hard.
