Through his beginnings as an event promoter with the Rochester, NY based production company "Froggy Style Productions" and later "Universal Element," LeRoy Brown has been acquainted at numerous levels of the so-called "game." It was through these early days in his career that he learned the true meaning of hard work, dedication, and perseverance. During his promotions period, LRB promoted and played alongside the likes of J Smooth, Reid Speed, Terrence Parker, Czech, Disco-D, DJ Craze, Ming & FS, Silly Cutty, Onionz, Dean Coleman, Boo Williams, Translucent, UFO!, Empress, DJ Kahncept, Ellen Ferratto, Cappi, Roy Davis Jr., DJ Godfather, DJ, Nitro, and J.P. Universal Element in turn played another major role in LeRoy Brown's career... hooking up the first DJ gig... and of course many more thereafter... Now lets fast forward to 2003.... a year which determined a lot for LeRoy Brown. Faced with many personal and professional mishaps, LB presses on... Shortly after the turn of 2004, he loses his mother to cancer, whom had been behind him since day one... Mind blown to say the least.... Determined to keep it moving, LRB hasn't looked back since. 2007 spells quite a bit for him and the emerging squad, the FYC, or better known as the "Feral Youth Crew." Armed with a series of studio releases, including some beat tapes, mixtapes, as well as guest production slots, LeRoy Brown won't be brushed off any time soon.
