 Thanks for stopping by.  It's my desire to faithfully share that which has been given to me.  This website will be a sampling of recordings that I, along with family and friends, have done over past 40 years. There are over 300 original unpublished songs presented in demo form on this site.   Special thanks go to my partners in music, my daughter Amber, son Ian and the guys of Single Heart (Gene, Bob, Chris, Marty and Tata) who joined me to sing praises to the Lord down through the years. I also wish to thank those co-writers and artists that have joined with me in developing new music the passed few years to share on this website.  I'm now featuring "Fresh Fire" doing some of my songs from years past and new material also.

I hope it's evident to everyone... that though the melodies and harmonies, styles and singers may change... JESUS has always been and will always be...the Song! ...this music is one simple expression of a very thankful heart. 

Dan is a retired firefighter and ordained minister.

Band/artist history

"firesong" is not a touring band but just me (mostly) working away in my little basement studio at home.  Music on this site will consist of songs that I have written and recorded over the years.  They are in demo and live performance modes and are not professional recordings

I played live for thirty years with three Christian bands...PEACE, Adoration and Single Heart.

Southern gospel ( Gaither Vocal band, Cathedrals. Boothe Brothers), contemporary Christian (Phillips Craig and Dean, Casting Crowns etc.)
Favorite non christian artists (The Eagles, Little River Band, The Gatlins, REO)

What equipment do you use?

Yamaha Genos keyboard 
Steinberg Cubase and Wavelab.  
Band in a Box as my backing band.

Anything else?

Jesus said if He was lifted up He would draw all men to Him...I just want to lift Him up and let Him do the drawing...may He be exalted by this website.
