Band/artist history
Biography Mansic started at the end 1999 as [sic] in a garage in a small town called Norrtlje just outside Stockholm. The brothers Nizze and Micke decided to do something with their wasted spare time. The started [sic]. The band released their demo, the self financed, 8 track CD Waking Up and in 2001 they went on a Poland tour before they knew what hit them. All the members werent into it enough so after a short trip to Holland and a couple of gigs Nizze made some rearrangements and changed the name to Mansic. Mansic went on an european tour with the spanish ska-core band"Stroh" and released the DIY CD-R album "Punkrock Paperdoll". Micke was back on base after som changes in the line up and once again the band went out for another european tour, this time together with the american band "The Fux", the year was 2003. The same year Mansic released their debute "Everyday is a Tragedy" at the small Sdertlje based label "Bug Records". In 2004 they went to the studio to record "Beautygone". The album was released 2005 at "Kjell Hell Records" and will be released in the U.S by "Digitone Records". In july 2005 Mansic changes their name to Hate is just a feeling. In the middles of the 80's Micke and Nizze played in AS, a band located in Norrtlje outside Stockholm. Nizze started behind the drums with no success at all. Before they had their first gig Nizze jumped from the band. As Micke continued Nizze had a few bands like Underklassens Djungelvrl and Svenssons. Later, during the later half of the 80's Nizze started Sighstens Grannar together with Anders Roos from Blsta. Mart Hllgren, later known from De Lyckliga Kompisarna and UBBA played the drums and Ricke Bergkvist took care of the guitar. The band played some gigs during two years they existed mostly in Sweden but also in Denmark and Germany. Nepente started during the 90's and both Jocke, who played drums in Mansic and Thabbe who plays the drums in Hate is just a feeling played in the first line up. Nepente released the cassette "Krlek" and recorded another one that never was released. "Krlek" was given away for free. Thabbe and Nizze had some projects before Nepente with Gandalf Gr (Gandalf the Grey) amongs others. In the second line up, after Thabbe left the band, Marcas from Hate is just a feeling was playing one of the guitars. Marcas comes from the folkmusic band Tv Fisk och en Flsk (Two fishes and a pork). Clabbe is from Nykping, south of Stockholm, and before Mansic and Hate is just a feeling he played in Riff Raff and Jamboree. Thabbe is playing pop today with a band called Pistolband amongs others. Marcas and Clabbe is also playing together with the singer-songwriter Carl Brandt. When [sic] started Micke and Nizze was hanging at the balcony of Nizzes apartment drinking coffee and smoking tons of cigarettes. The first name of the band was Big Bengt and later Dace. John, the drummer came up with the name [sic]. [sic] recorded a demo in Swedish and released it as CD-R and just before Marcas joined the band they released the self financed album "Waking Up". [sic] went on tour in Poland and made 3 gigs in Holland before the band transformed itself to Mansic. More history is coming...
